Shearith Israel and Its Foundation: Leaving a legacy

The Klei Kodesh and leadership of Congregation Shearith Israel and the Congregation Shearith Israel Foundation offer heartfelt appreciation to those who have generously left a Legacy Gift to the Synagogue and / or the Foundation.

At 139 years old, Shearith is actively planning for future generations and its next 139+ years as it builds its resources by planting a financial seed to ensure its future and Jewish influence in perpetuity.

This is an initial list compiled from the information gathered by the Synagogue and the Foundation of those who acknowledge they have bequeathed a Legacy Gift to Shearith Israel and / or the Shearith Israel Foundation. An additional list of those who are deceased and left a Legacy Gift will be forthcoming as well as a list of those who have established current endowments. This list is compiled on the honor system / no documents are required (although always appreciated and kept confidential). If you have bequeathed a Legacy Gift and your name is not on this list (or have any questions), please let us know so we can recognize you by adding your name.
